Hello everyone. We have some much anticipated news! (cue drum roll). We are absolutely thrilled to announce that the newest member of Co-cheòl is the wonderful Stephanie Firth!
It’s been a joy singing (and laughing out heads off) with Stephanie at festivals and gigs over the past few months. Stephanie has a penchant for bright colours and enthusiastically waving her arms and calling it dancing, so naturally she slots right in with us. We love her, and we hope you do to!
We are very pleased to announce that Stay a while, our debut album is now for sale on our Bandcamp site!
Visit cocheol.bandcamp.com to get your copy
You can purchase either a digital download or a physical copy, which we will mail out to you.
Thanks to everyone who has made this possible, we are incredibly proud of our achievement, and so humbled by your belief in us.
We’re launching our album at the National Celtic Festival on Saturday at 9.20pm in Parks Hall. So honoured to be able to launch at such a great festival, and can’t wait to share our music with you all!
We will also be holding a vocal workshop on the Saturday at 12.30, as well as another performance on the Sunday at 1.50 and Monday at 10.30, both in the Wine Bar.
Hope to see you there!
P.S. Remember to dress warm 😛

We’re singing at the Melbourne Recital Centre!
We’ll be joining the Victoria Welsh Male Choir at the Melbourne Recital Centre on the 26 of Feb in celebration of St David’s Day, the patron saint of Wales. We are performing a small guest set of our own, as well as a special combined piece. We shall also be joining the men for the Welsh National Anthem, along with celebrated Welsh tenor Rhys Meirion.
We are very excited…not only for the wonderful venue that we are performing in, but also for the opportunity to perform with such a well known and wonderful group of singers. We had a rehearsal with the men last Wednesday and they are in very fine voice. You’re in for a treat if you can get tickets!
Tickets can be bought here
We are completely blown away by the response we have had to our Pozible campaign. Your generosity and faith in us is amazing to see.
An enormous THANK YOU to all the wonderful people who have supported us over the last two months. It has been an incredible experience, and very inspiring and affirming for us all.
We’re about to travel around the state (see the Gigs page or Facebook for all the details) for the next two months, but we will keep you all up-to-date with the progress of the album. We can’t wait to see and hold the results of all this work.
We couldn’t have done it without you!!
